The Studio

Every shot under your control,
on one timeline.

Replace a clip, re-roll a take, swap a voice or rewrite a single line without touching the rest of the production. Your story stays continuous; only the parts you change are regenerated.

  • Cut, split, blade and drag clips across video, audio and overlay lanes
  • Generate transitions and effects per clip — cross, fade, bloom, LUTs
  • Add titles, captions and image overlays from the same timeline
  • Last-frame chaining keeps continuity; ripple-edit keeps the cut tight
  • Export vertical or wide, mastered per platform

Your cast

Bring real faces
into every scene.

Upload photos for any character before generation starts. We match them to the AI-generated cast by name and lock them as reference, so their face, build, wardrobe and look hold across every shot — and every project.

  • Drop 1–10 photos per character — best results with varied angles
  • Named matches replace the AI-generated cast member automatically
  • Unmatched names are added as brand-new characters
  • Lock a character once, reuse them across scenes and projects
  • Identity stays consistent — no drifting faces between cuts

The chat editor

Direct the next shot
with a sentence.

Pull a character, a location or the previous shot straight into the prompt as an image chip. The studio re-rolls only what changed and keeps the rest of the cut frame-locked.

  • Drop in any cast member, location or world by thumbnail
  • Chain off the last shot for continuity in one click
  • Score the scene and lay SFX from the same chat — score, ambience, one-shots
  • Re-roll, regenerate or pin any take without breaking neighbours

Cut to a wide of Maya stepping onto the Rooftop café for the first time. Match the look and lensing of Shot 04-11, hold on her for two beats.

Now score it — a low, patient cue, single piano motif under a soft synth pad. Add SFX: distant traffic, a faint wind, a door latch when she steps out.

Built for the way films are made

A studio without the toolchain.

Write the story; the studio drafts the world, casts the characters, blocks the shots, scores the scenes and renders the cut. You keep directorial control over every beat.

Every department of a film studio, automated. You stay in the director's chair.

Script to shot list

Turn one idea into a treatment, then into scenes, then into a shot-by-shot plan. Refine any beat with a note — the breakdown updates around it.

Reusable references

Reusable references

Characters, locations and worlds are locked, named, and reusable across scenes and projects. Drop any of them into a prompt as a thumbnail.

03Continuity
Last-frame chaining

Last-frame chaining

Every new shot is conditioned on the last frame of the previous one, so faces, outfits and lighting hold across cuts without drift.

Frequently asked

Have another question? We are listening.

What is VStudios?+

A virtual studio that handles the entire short-form film pipeline — story, cast, storyboard, voice, score, render and editing — from a single canvas. You stay in the director's chair.

How is it different from a generic AI video tool?+

Generic tools make one clip. VStudios runs a full production: characters with locked references, last-frame chaining for continuity, per-scene scoring and a timeline you can re-roll shot by shot.

Can I edit anything after it renders?+

Yes. Replace, regenerate or fine-tune any individual shot or dialogue line without re-running the entire production. Your project is a living timeline, not a one-shot prompt.

Do I own what I generate?+

Films you generate on a paid plan are yours to use commercially. See the Terms of Service for full license details.

How does pricing work?+

Each plan includes a monthly balance of generation minutes. When a shot renders, only the actual generated duration is debited. Top-ups stack on top of your subscription and never expire.
